Обычно новички сталкиваются с проблемой, что трубу скрыли фильтром, а на 3Д-виде какая-то как будто труба осталась, выделить нельзя, непонятно, что это. Теперь такого не будет, скрыли основу — скрывается и изоляция. Ориентация аннотаций воздухораспределителей В семейства воздухораспределителей добавили галочку «Сохранять ориентацию аннотаций». Ранее её добавляли в другие категории, теперь дело и до решёток дошло. Галочка позволяет отображать на плане вложенное семейство аннотаций, даже если воздухораспределитель установлен не параллельно уровню. Новая категория «Дополнительные каркасы MEP» Эта категория больше ориентирована на модуль Fabrication — то есть для производителей и монтажников воздуховодов. В России им не пользуются, так что пригодится ли категория — непонятно. Кроме того, заметил ещё в 2023 Revit категорию «Виброизоляторы», её видно только при создании параметра с типоразмером семейства, в других окнах не заметил. Та же ерунда с категорией «Обозначения подъемов и опусков».
Фильтрация по отметкам труб, воздуховодов, лотков и коробов Теперь при создании фильтра для труб, воздуховодов, лотков и коробов можно выбирать кучу всяких отметок, в том числе с учётом изоляции. Обновление формулы Халанда для воздуховодов Просто цитата из справки: «Обновлена формула Халанда для расчета потери давления в прямом сегменте воздуховода. Теперь вместо эквивалентного диаметра используется гидравлический диаметр». Особо добавить нечего. Модель энергопотребления с учётом скрытых элементов Если кто-то этим вдруг пользовался, то теперь можно сначала настроить видимость только тех элементов, которые нужны рассчитывать, а уже потом считать. Ну чисто теоретически тогда можно скрывать ненужные стены и оставлять только один «слой» из стен, предварительно задав ему термическое сопротивление всей стены, и так считать теплопотери. Вот как-то так. Особое предупреждение тем, кто коллекционирует Revit ранних версий 2019 и младше.

Hopefully this will be fixed in one of the next hotfixes for this release. I find that the new icons and the dark mode make the interface a lot clearer and easier to use.
The TopoSolid tool allows you to create site elements that have depth and thickness, unlike the TopoSurface tool, which only created flat surfaces. The TopoSolid tool works similarly to the floor tool. You first sketch an extrusion boundary with magenta lines, then you can modify the sub-elements by adding points at specific heights to create slopes. There are six site solids to choose from in the type selector. I added a floor, slab edges, and then a section box , which allowed me to create the detailed view below. Nothing overlapped, YES! You can also change the structure and material of TopoSolids, allowing you to create more complex site elements such as lakes, hills, roads, and more.
I can now use voids or floors to cut site models, which makes it much easier to create section views and have lots of printable details in place. This is a great addition that eliminates the need to use floors or other workarounds to create site elements. This view style allows you to view materials with textures without the performance hit of the Realistic view.

These tools are more complex and potentially more confusing than building pads, but they allow you to create more complex shapes. In this example, we create a void shape for a parking driveway. You could also use the model in-place tool, but uh... Overall, this is probably for the best... In Revit 2024: Each toposolid type can have different kinds of topography contours. In the type properties of a toposolid, you need to click on Contour Display.

Вроде да может быть полезно, но галочка не решает проблему автоматического присоединения торцов стен друг к другу эффект виден на картинке , а следовательно лучше в отдельном файле делать отделку. Периметр помещения Напоследок ещё одно очень полезное изменение. Раньше периметр помещения считался некорректно, если внутри помещения есть колонны или стены, площадь считается правильно, а периметр нет — не учитывает их. Теперь это допилили и периметр считается правильно. Если где-то в расчётах используете периметр это очень полезно, не придётся делать дополнительный параметр для ручного добавления таких вещей. И всё таки — А раньше нельзя было поправить?!

Подводя итоги, для релиза новой версии конечно мало. На мой взгляд стоящих всего 3 изменения: Коллекции листов, Массив, Периметр помещения. Очевидно что изменений на полноценную новую версию копится за 3 года, а не за 1.

Be careful, though. You can use them on the new toposolid category. In Revit 2024: You can use the same Graded Region tool on toposolid. These are quite helpful. Be careful: Apparently, these values are not always accurate. If the sketch boundaries of the new toposolid are different, the calculated volumes will not be correct. Activate the preview this way: You can see the difference when the option is active. This feature is available not only with toposolid but also with floors and roofs.

There is a new tab in this property box named Colors. In this tab, you will be able to set Dark Theme or Light Theme with the dropdown. The rest of the colors can be customized in each theme using RGB colors.
After making the change to Dark Theme, the UX and drawing area will go dark. The nice thing is that the drawing area can be controlled separately. This is a really nice feature for those that like dark theme in the UX but still want the white background in the drawing area. You will find that some property boxes will still be in Light Theme. Autodesk will likely get to all of these properties boxes in future, but this is certainly a great start. This new visual style is in between Consistent Colors and Realistic.
If there is no image applied to the material, the Texture visual style will simply use the RGB color on the graphics tab. Add Multiple Views and Schedules You have always been able to drag one view from Project Browser to a Sheet, but now Revit has added the ability to do multiple at a time. Once you have all the views selected, you can drag them into the sheet. You can also do this from the View tab by selecting the View icon, which will open a window that will also allow you to select multiple views at a time. But, overall this is a really nice feature and a time saver. Resize All Schedule Rows We always like seeing schedule updates in new Revit releases and this one is a nice one.
Revit has added the ability to resize all rows in a schedule. This is going to be nice to quickly adjust the height of the rows all at once. One thing we did notice when we first turned on the feature for All rows is that it took the height of the smallest row in the schedule.
It was released on April 4th 2023. Below you can see the list of top enhancements in Revit 2024. The list is focused on general improvements and those for architects. Improved site modeling Introduced Toposolids. Site design tools have been redesigned which makes it easier to model topography and create landscape project. Toposurface, Building Pad and Subregion tools are completely removed. Toposolids replaced Toposurface.
As their names suggest, the main difference is that Toposolids are created as solid geometry and Toposurface as surfaces. Toposolids are very similar to shape-edited floors, or more precisely it combine features of floors and toposurfaces from previous versions of Revit. You can create new types of Toposolid and change types using Type Selector. Unlike Toposurface, Toposolid has a thickness and you can set different contour display for every toposolid type. Toposolids can host floor-based families. Toposolids are new system families with compound layers and type parameters. Add multiple layers and set materials. You can create toposolids from sketch or CAD imports, just select layers that contain points. You can use Split tool from the Modify tab to split a toposlid into multiple toposolids. You can use Graded Region tool on toposolids in Existing phase.
Grading of surface points at toposolids works the same way as the shape editor at floors. Sub-Divide tool replaced Subregion tool. You can use Sub-Divide to apply different materials to a toposolid. Then you can set material and height thickness for each sub-division. Mass void replaced Building Pad tool. Create void mass and use the Cut tool to create hole in the Toposolid.

Хорошо сделали. Тёмная тема пока половинчатая, по нормальному все окна нужно было сделать тёмными. Инструменты для рисования тоже какие-то слишком тонкие и вялые.
Из того, что понравилось — кнопочки внизу экрана стоят более разреженно, что упрощает их восприятие и нажатие по ним. Специально для сравнения выровнял оба набора кнопок по кнопке детализации. Также в диспетчере появился поиск — удобно.

Порядок прорисовки 2Д элементов Не проверял, но разработчики обещают, что теперь аннотации и элементы узлов в семействах будут работать стабильнее при отображении в проекте, редакторе семейств и на печати. То есть будет проще работать с УГО — условными графическими обозначениями. Раньше была проблема, что некоторые аннотации в проекте и при печати отображались некорректно: закрывали объекты или наоборот, перекрывались.
Теперь должно быть стабильнее, как в редакторе — так и в проекте и на печати. Редко сталкивался с этим, но попробовал быстро накидать, вроде работает, но не совсем корректно. Открыл первое попавшееся семейство — точки подключения умывальника.
Добавил вложенное семейство в категории «Элементы узлов», нарисовал символическую линию и область штриховки. Расположил в определённом порядке: Добавил 2Д-элементы в семейство, все они перекрывают основную геометрию, но между собой идут в определённом порядке Добавил 2Д-элементы в семейство, все они перекрывают основную геометрию, но между собой идут в определённом порядке На плане этажа можно добиться точно такого же отображения, но при соблюдении ряда условий. Если дисциплина инженерная, Сантехника, Механизмы или Электросети, то в параметре «Показать невидимые линии» должно стоять «Нет», иначе всё просвечивает.
Вот только есть незадача: при таком выборе не будет видно оси труб, а нам они нужны. Если на дисциплине «Координация» выбрать «Нет» или «По категории», то результат одинаковый: оси не видно, но и не просвечивает, всё как на первом скриншоте ниже. Если при «Координации» выбрать «Все», то оси видно, само УГО отрисовывается в нужном порядке, но при этом ещё в стиле невидимых линий отображается основная геометрия семейства.
Оформить план красиво по-прежнему нельзя. Всё-таки Ревит 2019 — великолепен. Именно в этой версии я создаю свои платные семейства, с которыми можете ознакомиться в моём магазине.

When you have shapes such as links that overlap it could be confusing when showing lengths and angles of the hooks. These 3 configurations are shown in the image below using a standard link. Currently, the Bending Details cannot be tagged but I am sure that Autodesk will add this functionality in future releases. The bending details could also become a solution for certain detailing conventions such as tick and tag in sectional views and the display of bars in plan.
Bending Details in Schedules The Bending Details can also be used in schedules which is especially useful for non-standard shape codes. It is worth noting that you will only see the shape once the schedule is placed onto a sheet. Again, in many other regions and countries, shape codes are always shown in the schedule regardless. In the example below, Bending Details are shown in the bending schedule with the new auto size option for rows with images. In the above image, the segment names are displayed to reduce the amount of space required but you can also configure the Bending Details specifically for use within schedules.
Here in the UK, it would only be necessary to show the bending sketch for non-standard shapes so it would be useful to see a feature where you could control which shape codes use the new Bending Detail and display on the schedule. Again, this is the first iteration, and I am sure we will see other additions to this new feature in future releases. We will now look at a feature that was released in Revit 2023. Whilst this is an amazingly simple tool it really makes a difference when working with rebar. In the example below we have a rebar set which is configured for the spacing and number of bars.
If I add additional bars, they may end up on the wrong end of the rebar set. Another new tool in Revit 2024 allows us to control the alignment of freeform rebar when placing along a path. In previous releases, the rebar would stay aligned to the path, but we can now align the rebar vertically if required. An example of this is shown below with the curved wall with a tapering base. In this example, the rebar is aligned vertically but still runs along the path.
Analytical Modelling Updates Many of these updates happened in Revit 2023. Lat year we saw the introduction of an independent analytical model that could be managed and controlled separately from the physical model. To strengthen this workflow, we have some new tools to help with the definition of the analytical model. We can now create curved panels.

New visual style: Textures. This visual style displays material textures consistently, without lighting effects. Using this visual style you can easily test textures prior to rendering. These two commands, from the right-click menu, are related to views.
They were introduced in Revit 2023. Drag multiple views to sheet. Place multiple views, legends and schedules on a sheet at once. The views will be placed in a grid format. Improved schedules. The row height is no more determined by the font size or by width of the image column. Now the font height is the minimal value instead of fixed value. Schedule revision clouds. Ability to create schedule that contains revision clouds provides a suitable way to track issues in your project. You can use Comments, Mark, and Revision parameters alongside with other groups of parameters that you can select in the upper drop-down menu of the Schedule Properties dialog.
Apply revisions to multiple sheets. Improved Scope Boxes. Fixed issue related to display of 2D regions in 3D families. The display of 2D regions created in 3D families is consistent in family and project environment, vector and raster print. Also you can use draw order for the regions. Improved Dynamo 2. This menu makes it easier to create input nodes; it recommends nodes that you can use as inputs. Hardware acceleration for Dynamo.. It ensures better performance; you can find this option in the Preferences dialog, Visual Settings tab, and it is enabled by default.
