Дальше — крайний форвард второго или третьего звена, а потом постепенно вверх, вплоть до третьего места в звене Овечкина и Бэкстрема. Пределов для него нет, главное — продолжать работать и совершенствоваться. К Сочи-2014 как раз может стать одним из лучших.
Кирилл Кабанов «Айлендерс» Несколько месяцев назад Кирилла считали одним из самых ярких талантов мира, сейчас его забрали только в третьем раунде драфта. Сергей Кабанов, организовавший для своего сына на редкость бесполезную PR-кампанию, должен быть благодарен за то, что его вообще кто-то взял. В прошлом сезоне у Кабанова-младшего было больше скандальных интервью, чем заброшенных шайб, и это не могло не сказаться на отношении к нему со стороны клубов НХЛ.

While the team is already rich with young talented defensemen in John Klingberg and Miro Heiskanen , the early second-round selection, Conor Timmins would look good in a Stars uniform. Tippett is making his way in the AHL, and looks like he still certainly has a positive and productive future in the NHL. Original Pick: Shane Bowers In his rookie professional slate with the Colorado Eagles, Shane Bowers is off to a modestly productive pace, although the Avs would likely be a tad happier to have another NHL calibre defenseman in their arsenal. Comtois has good size and is not afraid to work along the boards or in front of the net. Comtois is also a very good skater, with great first step quickness and excellent acceleration. He can stand to slow things down and hold on to the puck just a little longer before rushing a play. Tippett had 15 goals and 20 points for Mississauga last season. A strong performance, seven points in four games, would lead to him being invited to join the US NTDP late in the season. He scored a point per game.
He had another impressive tournament, with nine points in seven games. He is committed to the University of Minnesota in 2017. Mittelstadt has excellent puck handling ability. He can beat defencemen one-on-one with a number of moves, and has the soft hands to stick handle in a phone both. He combines this with excellent speed, and the ability to make cuts on a dime. Mittlestadt is an excellent play maker who creates passing lanes with his quick puck movement. He also has a good shot. He put up nine goals and 10 points in just five games for Finland.
Tolvanen is a pure sniper who scores goals in a variety of different ways. He reads the play extremely well, and uses a quick first step and excellent accleration to allude defenders and get himself open to fire a shot on goal. Tolvanen has an outstanding one-timer, with great power and accuracy. He also has a lightning quick release on his wrist shot. Tolvanen has the soft hands to make quick moves and beat defenders with his stick handling ability. He can bury rebounds and has the hand-eye coordination to get deflections in front of the net as well. He also has plenty of experience playing for the National team at the Ivan Hlinka tournament, the U18, and the U17 levels. Hischier is a playmaker, with outstanding vision and passing ability.

Hischier is a playmaker, with outstanding vision and passing ability. He has very good hockey sense, and anticipates his teammates movements in the offensive zone. Hischier has a very quick first step, excellent acceleration and agility, as well as great edgework. This, along with quick hands, allow him to avoid defenders and make him very elusive when working the puck in the offensive zone. Hischier also has a very high work ethic, he never seems to stop working during a shift.
The answer is Callan Foote. Foote scored eight goals and 36 points in 71 games as a WHL rookie, showing real offensive prowess. Foote is an excellent skater. He skates well in both directions, and solid pivots and edgework allow him to cover a lot of ice. Its more about battling in the corners and clearing the front of the net than throwing big open-ice hits though.
Foote has a hard slap shot which he keeps low and puts on net. He also has good poise with the puck on his stick, and the vision to quarterback things from the point on the power play. He topped that in his second year, putting up 19 goals and 71 points in just 57 games. The 71 points led the Chiefs in Scoring. He scored seven goals and 13 points in just seven games in the tournament.
A late birthday, he is not eligible until the 2017 draft, when he will have just completed his third year in the WHL. Yamamoto has tremendous hands, he is a great stickhandler and can bury goals in tight to the goalie. He also is very quick to loose pucks with great acceleration and a really quick first step. More a play maker than a goal scorer, he uses his quickness and stickhandling to open up passing lanes. Yamamoto can feather passes tape-to-tape to his linemates and has outstanding vision.
He also put up 15 goals and 34 points in 37 games playing in the under 20 SuperElite league. A versatile player, Vesalainen has experience playing both wings. He has excellent size, and uses it to protect the puck along the boards and extend plays in the cycle. Gifted with a large wing-span, Vesalainen takes advantage of it to play keep-away with defenders.

Redrafting the 2017 NHL Draft
He piled up 30 goals in just 52 games in the USHL thanks to an elite shot and a complete shooting arsenal that enables him to beat goaltenders from just about anywhere in the offensive zone. The team was widely expected to be targeting a forward with the pick, however, at the time, Max Comtois, who had been ranked as high as the top-10, has seen his stock drop all the way out of the first round. In hindsight, Comtois was in fact worthy of a first-round pick, however, just falling out of the top-10. Despite being moved out of the desert and onto colder pastures, Suzuki is well on his way to proving his value at the NHL as a rookie with the Canadiens. Original Pick: Cal Foote The Lightning desired a defenseman to slide into their top-four with the 14th overall selection. With several blueliners projected to go in the second half of the first round, Al Murray opted for Foote. The Kelowna Rockets product tallied three more points than Henri Jokiharju in his draft year, but the latter has begun his professional career on a more intriguing note. Original Pick: Erik Brannstrom After losing draft stock in the weeks leading up to the draft, Nolan Patrick maintained his draft value and was selected by the Flyers in the two-hole. Nonetheless, he is currently forecasting as a satisfactory middle-six center, value worthy of a 15th overall pick. Original Pick: Juuso Valimaki Few players recognition has grown as much over the previous twelve months than the Blue Jackets forward Bemstrom. That being said, what fun would it be if we only had one player jump 100-spots in our re-draft.
That bumped out Kole Lind and Henri Jokiharju. Again no goalies are projected in the first round either. No change at the top as the top two spots still belong to Nolan Patrick and Nico Hischier. The biggest gains in the rankins belong to Nick Suzuki and Erik Brannstrom, both jumping up nine spots with Kailer Yamamoto up four.
