In 2011, the ABC aired the pilot of Once Upon A Time, a show about fairy tale characters cursed by an evil queen to live in the modern world and not remember who they are, created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. In the first episode, we meet the heroine, Emma Swan Jennifer Morrison , the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming who was abandoned at birth in order to return to her home on her 28th birthday and save them all from the curse. Emma portrays a tough exterior as she is indelibly wounded by the hardships of growing up in the foster system having been abandoned on the side of the road by unknown parents. Then, as if by magic, or fate, both feasible in this fairytale retelling, a little boy shows up at her door, the son she put up for adoption 10 years ago, needing her to come with him to his hometown of Storybrooke to reverse the curse of the evil queen, his adopted mother, Regina Lana Parrilla. Regina also lived alone most of her life, having been married to a man she hated because her mother killed the man she loved, alienated from her parents and is callous because of it. Regina notices this threat to her happy life, and quickly sets out to eliminate the threat any way possible. And thus began the SwanQueen ship.
The concept might seem harmless, but in all media that employs the strategy, in this case Once Upon a Time, it is taking advantage of queer audiences yet not validating them. These youth may have nowhere to turn, living in homophobic communities with little access to the outside world. Their chance of seeing someone like them may only be on television. Swan Queen […] could be the chance to show that equality, and family, comes in many different forms.

Ну и Володя в ГП пугал именно тем, что он бешеный и мощный, непонятно, что этому перцу взбредет в голову, а остановить его никто не сможет. This story take two main characters for Once Upon a Time and takes a look at what their future will when their son Henry gets in some trouble and the get a visitor for the future to help them out. However, She cannot ignore the plight of Her people and demands tax relief. The king agrees to skip an entire tax cycle if the virtuous queen will ride naked through the town.
