The right arm features the more common rotating 6-stud shooter which can be fired by rotating the back, very effective weapon against anything Iron Man can throw your way. Both of the weapons work effectively to give Iron Monger a great interactivity for play. You also get a crate to store your spare ammo. With the Iron Monger, with the exception of the shoulder plates which are help on with a couple of weak clips, the rest of the model feel much more sturdy, much more well constructed. This is down to the source material accurate rods on the back which connect should to elbow. These rods definitely strengthen the construction, though they do limit movement, well, not so much limit, more make it more difficult to pose the arms. The Iron Monger suit is beautifully recreated in LEGO form, and about as movie accurate as is possible in brick at this scale. A lot of love for the movie has gone into the design and it is clear that the designer has done absolutely everything that can be done to bring as much detail from the MCU to this model.

It has a cleaner look, and as such the Minifigure pares back the printing to keep things relatively sparse. The detailing we get is solid and accurate to the movie version we see in Avengers: Age of Ultron. This is another LEGO Minifigure where we get the usual transparent blue bricks as the rocket boosters. It has all the usual details and print applications covering it and even has some really nicely defined red and gold paneling down either side of the stomach. The only issue we can see is that while the Iron Man in the movie has a fully exposed Arc reactor, the Minifigure has half a reactor. It is fairly accurate to the suit we see on screen.
However, they add more gold highlights on the torso and leg pieces. Perhaps this is because they used earlier concept art to base their prints on, or perhaps they just wanted to make the Minifigure look a little more interesting. It has a great-looking triangular Arc reactor printed in the center of the torso piece, and we like that LEGO gave it space to breathe, leaving the detailing towards the bottom of the torso and onto the legs. This Iron Man Minifigure comes complete with the wing accessories that he battles with. A harness goes around his neck and hangs on the back of the torso, and you simply assemble and clip the four arms to the harness. It looks neat and even has a blaster effect to add to the action shots.

The building stands on the same baseplate as the large Daily Bugle set and can therefore be combined with other LEGO modular buildings. In addition to the tower itself, the 5201 pieces making up the set also include a Quinjet and a Leviathan. Last but not least, one of the sets highlights are the total 31 Minifigures included.
These new designs are something of a cross between the previous two versions, sporting a more sleek look that still allows the front faceplate to fold up. I adore the figure selection first and foremost, and can tolerate the price tag. I would have loved for the LEGO Group to stick with the same stall designs as last time around to keep everything uniform, though I do honestly like the refreshed builds better this time around.
What builders may also find interesting about the LEGO Art theme are the new parts that come with them. Such design allows the builder to focus on one section of the set, without being overwhelmed by the rest of the details. With the latest LEGO Art series, LEGO hopes that adult fans of the brick and those that are just starting in the hobby will be able to appreciate what this series has to offer — a sort of a creative break, especially during these trying times.
