Также еще одна интересная стратегия, которая показывает на примере работу лингвистического принципа изучения лексики — это стратегия изучения слов по их сочетаемости друг с другом.
Например, глагол ехать характеризуется большой сочетательной ценностью, так как может сочетаться с другими словами: ехать на автобусе, ехать на велосипеде, ехать в Москву. В английском этот принцип реализуется путем изучения устойчивых выражений с определенным словом.
