Откуда же спиртуозность в блендед молте Glen Eagles "на шотландских спиртах"?

За что этому каналу спасибо. Предприятие Auchroisk Distillery, на которой стали производить виски Singleton Dufftown, начало свою работу в 1974 г. На первых порах напитки реализовывали только через магазины Duty Free. Но позже, с ростом объемов продаж, рынок сбыта значительно расширили. Название скотча несколько раз меняли, но в конце концов пришли к варианту «Singleton».
Но например я сперва попробовал QC, и он мне очень понравился. Только после него я попробовал Лафройг 10, и если честно сказать - был немного разочарован. Его поражающая все чувства резкость показалась мне несколько передёрнутой, почти искусственной. Лафройг QC - для меня лично более изысканный и утончённый вариант чем Лафройг 10. Но несомненно стоит попробовать и тот, и другой. У меня лично в баре постоянно стоят оба Лафройга. С этим виски стоит быть начеку.

Награда выдаётся за достижение определённого количества балов после нескольких этапов дегустации. Таким образом, в один год может быть несколько золотых, серебряных и бронзовых призёров. И серебряная ачивка нам говорит, что виски не выдающийся, но в целом норм. Пожалуй единственное, что в Акентошане не как у остальных в Шотландии, это тройная перегонка, которая больше характерна Ирландским дистиллятам. Что касается выдержки, то это бочки из под бурбона и хереса. Но как мне кажется, хереса там совсем чуть-чуть, его совершенно не ощущается в запахе и он едва-едва проявляется сладостью во вкусе. Познакомился я с этим виски совершенно случайно - после долгой прогулки в не самую комфортную погоду заскочил в первый попавшийся бар хлопнуть что-то согревающее, выбора в меню практически не было и я решил что вот он момент попробовать что-то новое.

А там воняет и это значит, что всё в порядке, вы открыли виски. До этого открывал виски побюджетней и они источали такой же аромат. Как пить виски? Конечно же ртом... Все помнят виски со льдом, виски с колой, виски с содовой. Но раз напиток душевный как заявлено и стоит не так дешево, то лучше его пить чистяком.
Самому странно это писать, но на вкус очень "жидко" - вангую, что "спасибо" говорим тройной дистилляции и холодной фильтрации. Во вкусе лёгкая сладость, переходящая в кислинку и горечь шоколада. Послевкусие: Очень быстро исчезающее солоновато-горькое послевкусие. Если подвести некоторый итог, то можно сказать что виски сбалансированный - всё приятненько, но одинаково не солидно для 12ти лет. Что аромат, что вкус, что послевкусие. С другой стороны, ценник для 12ти лет ниже среднего, по сравнению с другими представителями этого возраста. На моей полке этот виски занял нишу "хлопнуть и закусить хорошо перчёным куском мяса".
