Информацию взял с ЯндексДзен у Inshaker, надеюсь претензий за копипаст не будет. За что этому каналу спасибо. Предприятие Auchroisk Distillery, на которой стали производить виски Singleton Dufftown, начало свою работу в 1974 г. На первых порах напитки реализовывали только через магазины Duty Free. Но позже, с ростом объемов продаж, рынок сбыта значительно расширили. Название скотча несколько раз меняли, но в конце концов пришли к варианту «Singleton».
На мой взгляд это скорее достоинство. Вкус его несколько облагорожен по сравнению с классическим Лафройгом и несколько напоминает например Caol Ila 12. Несмотря на маленькую выдержку 6 лет этот виски несомненно относится к премиум-классу, и я бы расположил его немного выше чем Лафройг 10. Ну собственно он немного дороже и стоит. Дело в том, что последние 7-8 месяцев выдержки в маленьких бочках действительно радикально улучшают его вкус, делают его более нежным и бархатистым.
Фенольность по-прежнему присутствует, она никуда не делась. Если вы выпьете этот виски вечером, то утром дымно-торфяной привкус ещё будет во рту, хотя наверное не так сильно как после такого же количества Лафройг 10.

Она выполнена очень по-классически, выдержанно, как и подобает этому 12-летнему напитку. Синглтон Вискокурня Даффтаун — это односолодовый шотландский виски с выдержкой в 12 лет. То есть в данном случае не было купажа, а взяли один единственный висковый дистиллят, который медленно и бережно созревал в течение 12 лет в дубовых бочках, а затем был разбавлен особой водой из источника, который придает этому напитку живости. В общем, должно получиться нечто невообразимое. Но мы сейчас как раз и проверим это.
