Звание лучшего бомбардира он разделил c чехом Иржи Кулихом, который набрал столько же очков, но при этом забил больше голов. Также Каттер вошёл в символическую сборную чемпионата мира и заодно стал лучшим форвардом мирового первенства. Помимо этого, Каттер был включён в тройку лучших хоккеистов сборной США. Этой ночью «Флайерз» сенсационно на первый взгляд обменяли обладающего потрясающим броском 19-летнего форварда в «Анахайм Дакс», взамен получив канадского защитника Джейми Драйсдейла и выбор во втором раунде драфта НХЛ — 2025. The Flyers can keep an eye on him at Boston College, but not to the degree that they can in the pros, whether in Lehigh Valley or with the Flyers. Intriguing idea, though. If so, who? And I suspect that even if the Flyers are on the outskirts of the playoff race, they very well might promote a few of them. My guess is that Tyson Foerster will get a look as well, probably after James van Riemsdyk is shipped off at the trade deadline. I fully expect Egor Zamula and Ronnie Attard to get call-ups as well. John Tortorella has made reference to wanting to get a look at a few more defensemen currently down in the minors, with Zamula who obviously already was up this season and Attard the most likely candidates. They know what Seeler is. Any other candidates? Well, Ersson will likely be back, if he counts. If Gauthier signs at the end of his college season, he very well could get a look. There are lots of possible prospect call-up options.

It was expected. He was supposed to dominate. Enter the World Juniors Summer Showcase. He was expected to dominate. After causing some minor headache by skipping on development camp to take a break from hockey, one might say he needed to dominate in order to make the hockey world forget about potential ELC ducking scandals and gossip about whether he was a teammate.
Mission accomplished. USA is going to be better because of it. Cutter Gauthier: Man amongst boys. But it was Scott himself, through chronicling his experience with Cutter, who may have put his development into perspective best.
The appeal of his game and makeup has always been obvious.

While the consensus on the back half of the top 10 is a little muddled among scouts and writers, the top 4 seems pretty set, meaning it will probably come down to the Flyers making the first choice of the second tier of guys at no.
On Saturday, the Eagles will welcome the second-ranked Denver Pioneers, who are one season removed from winning the national championship at TD Garden in 2022. The following weekend will bring a visit from ninth-ranked Michigan State for a pair of games before the Eagles launch into their Hockey East schedule in November.
