Но если вы такого не видели, это не значит, что так не бывает. А потом, какая разница, на каком инструменте «играть», когда артист камерного оркестра или оператор карьерного самосвала - профессионалы своего дела и одинаково умело управляются с ним. Не без усилий руководства золотодобывающей компании «Кумтор» и при желании творческого состава президентского камерного оркестра «Манас» все совпало чудесным образом. Дано: два абсолютно разных коллектива. Найти: точки соприкосновения. Решение: волнующее слух завораживающее звучание струн. Ответ: точное попадание в сердце и в душу. Музыканты были поражены масштабами производства на Кумторе.
Предложение председателя профорганизации «Кумтор-Вместе» Керима Шатманова провести для кумторовцев концерт классической и современной музыки они поддержали с удовольствием. Ранним январским утром тринадцать инструменталистов во главе с художественным руководителем и дирижером Эрнисом Асаналиевым отправились в путь. Впереди - обязательный медосмотр и инструктаж, знакомство с главными объектами рудника, ответственный и волнительный вечерний выход и совершенно новые яркие впечатления для творческой богемы, впервые оказавшейся на такой высоте, в царстве вечного льда. Вахтовый режим работы предполагает, что две недели работники находятся на руднике, а две недели - дома, где нужно заниматься хозяйственными вопросами, - объясняет, как возникает культурный пробел, глава профорганизации «Кумтор-Вместе» Керим Шатманов. От визита на рудник творческий коллектив получил массу впечатлений. Эти эмоции вылились в прекрасную музыку, которую инструменталисты подарили своим благодарным слушателям. Злящаяся два дня подряд вьюга улеглась, и день выдался солнечным и безветренным, что, конечно же, позволило визитерам побывать с экскурсией на Центральном карьере, фабрике, хвостохранилище и озере Петрова. Наблюдая за тем, как на самом дне копошится игрушечная в гигантских масштабах карьера спецтехника, далекие от горного дела представители искусства с трудом могли бы представить себе истинные размеры карьерных самосвалов.

At that time, the Zagreb Soloists were recording for Vanguard, mostly in Vienna at various locations, and this particular recording was made in 1957 at Rotenturmstrassaal. Recording was produced by Seymour Solomon, chief producer of the entire edition, who would personally come from the USA to oversee every recording to be made by the Zagreb Soloists, whereas the Vanguard branch in Vienna "Amadeo" was in charge of the organisation. Janigro was a perfectionist, often rather merciless, not only in matters of music but also in terms of the sound, so he participated directly and intensely in [the] recording process, which was quite uncommon at that time. With his elevation of descriptive music, Vivaldi ignited a debate that lasted for centuries and saw the art of telling stories through wordless sounds criticized by those who believed music should transcend earthly description. Where Vivaldi undeniably did succeed was in his successful exploration of compositional techniques — those that made The Four Seasons. No wonder musicians talk of the intense imagination and character required to bring these concertos off. The earliest taping still available was made by violinist Louis Kaufman and the strings of the New York Philharmonic in 1947 — it sounds robust but pretty unsubtle, too. In 1984 the young virtuoso Anne-Sophie Mutter made her first recording of the work, conducted by Herbert von Karajan — who insisted strings should sound rich and sustained in Baroque music just as in Brahms. At around the same time attitudes towards the performance of Baroque music had started to change.
