Но одновременно я искренне убеждён, что хорошие визуальные новеллы способны найти отклик у любого игрока вне зависимости от пола, возраста и жанровых предпочтений. В конце концов, история знает достаточно мелодрам и романтических сюжетов, которые высоко оценила и далёкая от любовных романов аудитория. Так что я отбросил предрассудки в сторону, набрал полные лёгкие воздуха и с головой нырнул в эту пучину.
Они охватывают чуть ли не все существующие литературные жанры и могут похвастать неожиданно продолжительным хронометражем: из отдельных эпизодов складываются целые сезоны. В каждой новелле игрок берёт под контроль новую героиню протагонисты мужского пола тоже есть, но скорее в качестве исключения , а весь геймплей сводится к выбору реплик в диалогах, значительная часть которых вообще ни на что не влияет. Доля нелинейности в сюжетах всё-таки есть, но касается она в основном только выбора любовного интереса. Несмотря на количество и разнообразие историй, их можно условно поделить на две группы.
Первая — невероятно унылое чтиво, по ощущениям похожее на визит в тематический парк, посвящённый заезженным штампам из романтических фильмов. Простушка приехала в Голливуд, героиня-хореограф встречает группу горячих танцоров, студентка неожиданно попадает в королевскую семью… Надежды на хорошую историю тают уже во время чтения аннотаций, а дальнейшее содержание новелл лишь усугубляет эффект: в них найдётся буквально всё, за что принято ругать бульварные романы. Невыносимые диалоги, топорно написанные персонажи, бесконечные пассажи типа «в его взгляде читается X с примесью Y». Про качество сценария и говорить как-то неловко, даже учитывая мои не слишком высокие ожидания.
Дружелюбная атмосфера. Шутки, лёгкий слог, забавные ответвления сюжета вроде возможности побесить вредного соседа — игра подкупает своей «несерьезностью» и непосредственностью Недостатки: Отсутствие последовательного выстраивания отношений с персонажами первым историям это ещё простительно, но 12й по счету — уже точно нет Статы. Возможно со временем всё станет понятнее, но пока они выглядят странными и не всегда логичными 7 место. И вскоре на героиню начинается охота… Общее впечатление: итак, я зажмуриваюсь, готовясь получить по лицу вашими помидорами, тапками, тухлыми яйцами и дизлайками. Кааак, почему, да это лучшая история КР, тамжеВиктор...

Эту историю мне советовали активнее всего, когда я прошла первые два своих сюжета. Я прошла первые пару глав до сцены поцелуя — и, честно говоря, в какой-то момент я даже забросила игру, настолько мне не понравилось поведение главной героини. На мой взгляд, она нагловатая, неблагодарная, при этом непонятно чем практически сходу заслужила любовь томно-загадоШного Виктора, как будто он за свои столетия жизни никого получше найти не мог... С появлением Макса игра для меня немного оживилась — а к последнему сезону даже стала всерьез нравиться, если бы не пара нюансов в финале... Но в целом этот сюжет для меня «вывезли» именно эпизодические и второстепенные персонажи — а вот к главной героине я как-то совсем нежными чувствами и эмпатией не прониклась...

Не путаются в голове все варианты?
Поэтому нам надо следить за распределением очков, которые зарабатывает игрок и которые влияют на сюжет. Всё надо считать и прописывать. В итоге ты вроде как пишешь одну историю, а получается 38 вариантов одной и той же истории. Это своеобразный челендж. Но мне он нравится. В начале истории всё равно есть дисклеймер, что мы не претендуем на историческую достоверность. Но перед тем как начать писать, я посвятила время историческому ресёрчу. Теодора — журналистка во время Первой мировой войны. Информации об этом на русском языке очень мало. Но на английском мне удалось найти достаточное количество статей. Я искала, как там всё было устроено, искала реальных женщин-журналисток тех времён.
И так получилась моя Тео. Это большая работа, но я считаю, это важная часть жанра — чтобы читатель верил. Каким был твой самый сложный момент в работе над сценарием? Сложно было в момент запуска. Я тогда только начала разбираться в формате и коде игры. У меня уже были какие-то навыки после Episode, но это не совсем то же самое. Написание истории тоже далось нелегко именно в плане исторической достоверности. Хотя, напомню, я на неё не претендую. Но мне хотелось всё сделать как надо, чтобы у читателей создалась правильная атмосфера. Для этого надо было очень много прочитать, о многом подумать и многое учесть.
О чём ты подумала, когда впервые увидела физическое воплощение своей истории? У меня защемило сердечко. Это была гордость за всю команду. Работа была не маленькая, все переживали перед запуском, как аудитория отреагирует на новеллу. Но вне зависимости от реакции читателей я в любом случае гордилась этой работой. И продолжаю гордиться, ведь моя новелла ещё продолжается. Ты и писательница, и поклонница фанфиков. Этот жанр ведь появился, чтобы закрыть некую читательскую несправедливость. В твоей новелле, скажем так, чтобы без спойлеров, не совсем типичное завершение первого сезона. И кто-то из читателей может попытаться закрыть вот эту свою читательскую несправедливость.
