I think that the best homebrew content is content designed to accentuate these strongest aspects of 5th Edition, by providing players with modular pieces of content like subclasses and prestige classes which strengthen that multiclassing system without diluting the archetypes that are so well-defined by the base published classes. This means never adding new content that attempts to fill the same thematic niche as existing published content, among other things. There is a lot of homebrew out there that attempts to redesign classes, subclasses, or spells, and a lot of homebrew that does something published content already does just in a different way or attempts to obsolete it, such as a new fighter subclass that casts spells in melee Eldritch Knight or a new paladin subclass that focuses on nature Oath of the Ancients.
We try to follow the design principles that Wizards of the Coast has advised upon, such as those in this document they released on class design long ago. Of course, all new content is volatile when introduced to your game. This is still true whether it is homebrew or official published content, and even if the content is well balanced. But if you fit that description I imagine your game already has problems, and I wish you good luck. Use however much of the content fits your game and your group. Spell variants do not reproduce the text of the spells that they copy.
Instead, the spell variants have a name, school, class list, and a short bit of text detailing the changes. As for the completely new spells, we have a few design principles that we like to adhere to. One is that spells are better when they involve meaningful gameplay differences for more than just the caster player. A spell that does a great deal of damage is interesting, but a spell that changes the battlefield for every player at the table is usually more interesting. This should change the ratio of saving throws for spells overall, but only slightly. It does similar things to the ratio of damage types, and it intends to offer enough spells of the lesser-used schools like divination and illusion that a mage who wishes to specialize in those schools can do so at less of a cost to their combat power.

Допустим, те, кто пытается постоянно перетягивать одеяло на себя. Мастер всегда старается дать игрокам одинаковое количество времени, чтобы каждый что-то сделал и почувствовал себя частью приключения. В задачи мастера входит либо собрать группу со схожими целями, либо добавить в кампанию максимальное количество всевозможных активностей. Кто-то любит отыгрывать, кому-то больше нравится просто кидать кубики и драться. Это все приходит с опытом. Чтобы умереть в «ДнД», нужно действительно постараться, как минимум три раза неудачно прокинув дайс, но даже тогда персонажа можно воскресить.
Да, элемент случайности присутствует, и с ним ничего не сделаешь, но подобное тоже проходит весело и интересно для сюжета. Если вы играете в готовое приключение, то мастер может предложить игрокам готовых персонажей. Также новичку, который пришел первый раз, проще взять уже созданного героя, чем несколько часов выслушивать про все характеристики и тонкости. Но вообще, все зависит от уровня игроков за столом, готовить персонажей на всю партию одному мастеру довольно сложно. Чародей, волшебник и колдун различаются типом используемой магии — белая, черная и так далее.
Добравшись в Нижний Темешвар, группа расположилась на постой в местной таверне и уже начала потихоньку строить планы на ближайшее будущее, даже не подозревая, что гарнизон паладинов Тира уже разыскивает одного из них... Показать больше.

Maligno was a toy made by the toymaker, Giuseppe, to help him have the family he never had He treated Maligno like a child and the children of the village adored him, but the parents were skeptical stating he was only a toy. Disheartened, Malgino had Giuseppe build him siblings as other carionettes, and when the time was right, these carionettes rose up and killed all the adults in the village, dragging the whole of Odaire into Ravenloft and leaving only the children and the carionettes. Sea of Sorrows Darklord: Pietra van Riese Hallmarks: Island domains, nautical horror The Sea of Sorrows is a domain that hapless sailors can find themselves caught in whenever they take to the sea. There are an array of shifting islands amongst the waves of the sea. Some of the more prominent islands within the Sea of Sorrows include: Blaustein: An island fortress once ruled by the notorious pirate captain, Bluebeard, until his spectral wives killed him and now torment his spirit endlessly. Dominia: An island asylum that houses the vampire, Dr Daclaud Heinfroth. Each patient within the asylum is a different aspect of this vampire, inspired by different parts of his long and varied life. Isle of the Ravens: An impossibly tall towers stretches into the sky on this island. It is home to the Lady of Ravens who turns any that offend her into one of the ravens of her flock.
The Lighthouse: This lighthouse has been built amidst twisting fossils, but the light it shines does not light the sea, but instead, points down into the depths of the endless pit within the lighthouse itself. He will welcome visitors, if they are respectful of his faith, but if they are not, well, he has left the bones of the blasphemers on the shores as a warning of what will happen. Upon the sea itself sails the Darklord of the domain, a murderous pirate captain known as Pietra van Riese. In life, she would drag her victims from ropes behind her ship until they drowned, never releasing them, even in death. Eventually, her ship dragged a practical hoard of zombies and corpses behind it. She now sails the Sea of Sorrows looking for more victims among the unfortunate sailors that cross her path.
