Богатейшая ароматика, очень слоистый и интересный вкус. Чувствуется великолепный класс и высочайший уровень напитка. Это не какой-нибудь 3-летний попсовый купаж, к которому так привыкли у нас в России. Если по-настоящему любите и цените whiskey, обязательно возьмите Синглтон Вискокурня Даффтаун 12 попробовать. Конечно, найдутся и интереснее образцы.

Думаю, дело в постсоветской традиции добавлять ректификат туда, где его не должно быть. Этот виски до недавнего времени у нас в пятёрках долго стоял по 700 рублей, никому не нужный, что тоже возможно говорит о качестве продукта.
Но повторюсь, это моё мнение, я сделал его для себя, никого ни в чём уговаривать и убеждать не собираюсь. Если что-то не нравится, то лучше не брать, чтобы потом не разочаровываться. И как всегда главные вопросы: нужно ли его брать и стоит ли он своих денег.
И здесь ответы очень просты. Если есть сомнения в том, что этот виски вам нужен - то его не стоит брать, можно будет легко разочароваться. И если вы не можете позволить купить виски по указанному ценнику, то он явно не стоит своих денег для вас.

На удивление, оказалось очень даже неплохо. Виски обладает довольно мягким вкусом с оттенками фруктов и что самое главное, для моего нетренированного организма — по шарам не бьёт. Дегустировал со льдом. Достойный продукт. Немного из истории для общего в том числе и своего развития. Информацию взял с ЯндексДзен у Inshaker, надеюсь претензий за копипаст не будет.

Только после него я попробовал Лафройг 10, и если честно сказать - был немного разочарован. Его поражающая все чувства резкость показалась мне несколько передёрнутой, почти искусственной. Лафройг QC - для меня лично более изысканный и утончённый вариант чем Лафройг 10. Но несомненно стоит попробовать и тот, и другой. У меня лично в баре постоянно стоят оба Лафройга. С этим виски стоит быть начеку. Пьётся он на удивление легко, но на самом деле крепость в 48 градусов даёт о себе знать уже со второй рюмки.
Да и по своему возрасту они достаточно близки. Про оба виски я уже написал подробно в отдельных материалах, и, не затягивая, приступлю к их битве. Фото сделано автором По цвету паритет, тут сравнивать смысла нет. Нос Nestville Single Malt Ровный, сладкий с нотками ванили, фруктов, печёных яблок, пряных специй, дуба, леденцов и нот картона. Держится хорошо, без особого развития, и не сильно упрощается. Deanston Virgin Oak Ровный с нотками трав, фруктов, ванили, пряных специй, дуба, а также покрытых воском яблок с маслянистым характером. Ароматика можно сказать паритет. Здесь нет отрицательных нот. Всё просто, ровно и понятно. Вкус Nestville Single Malt Ровный с нотками фруктов, ванили, дуба, пряных специй и трав. Пьётся очень легко, бутылка может уйти на раз. Deanston Virgin Oak Ровный с нотками фруктов, ванили, дуба, красных яблок покрытых воском и пряных специй.
