His organisation had a rule against killing, yet he ends up saving Maki, a professional assassin even though that was mostly collateral and a means of getting Kaito to cooperate with him.
It Amused Me : His main reason for doing anything, including abusing and harassing his classmates, intentionally prolonging the trials despite knowing the culprit from the start or causing multiple deaths through the course of the story, is his own entertainment. Granted, while he is more perceptive than a vast majority of his cast, his actions show undeniable selfish intent. Most prominently would be in Chapter 4, as he purposely takes time to drive a rift between Kaito and Shuichi even repeatedly cutting him off when the latter tries to clarify himself just because Shuichi pissed him off and earlier formulated a plan to get Miu and Gonta killed because he felt that was the best course of action.
Jerkass : Kokichi spends the whole game gleefully antagonizing and manipulating the other killing game survivors, interfering with the trials, and even comes up with a gambit that causes the deaths of two other participants, then spends his last moments getting Kaito involved in a plot that leads to his execution after blackmailing him into killing him, resulting in him being The Friend Nobody Likes that also ends up hated even posthumously. While he does have some admirable moments, most of them are really only pragmatic and he still continues the same mischievous behavior in the process. Jerkass Has a Point : As The Rival character of this game, he has made many accurate points towards the killer within the class trials.
During the fourth trial, Kokichi mocks the rest of the class, Kaito in particular, for wanting to vote based on their feelings rather than the actual truth. Jerk with a Heart of Jerk : He occasionally helps the students and puts on an unconvincingly friendly tone during the trials, despite taunting them mere moments before, or at worst, plotting an indirect serial murder. Karma Houdini Warranty : In Chapter 4, he gets away with murdering Miu and by extension Gonta, as the rules of the game mean only Gonta can be declared the Blackened and executed.
He gets nearly strangled by Maki in Chapter Two only after he keeps pushing her even after learning how dangerous she was to prove his own point. In chapter 4 his "joking" murder threats result in Kaito punching him and Miu is later revealed to have been trying to kill him which resulted in him turning the tables and getting her killed instead. And naturally, his attempt in chapter 5 to paint himself as the mastermind including kidnapping Kaito and threatening the others with the Exisals led to Maki shooting him twice with poisoned crossbow bolts and ultimately led to his death.
Viciously insulting Miu while her corpse is in the room also counts, even if it was just a part of his plan he hatched with Gonta and serves as Laser-Guided Karma for Miu considering her habit of making comments about her dead friends. Killing in Self-Defense : Defied. Large Ham : As an Evil Counterpart of Miu of sorts, Kokichi likes to speak with great enthusiasm and has incredibly open mannerisms, which includes all of his honest remarks about how the other participants are idiots for falling for the mastermind, among other things.
Loving Bully : Despite his endless trolling, Kokichi occasionally claims that he does care about the other students, even those he tends to pick on most often. Kokichi seems to respect Shuichi and tries to help him during the trials, in his own way particularly when he notices Shuichi trying to lie. During the Ultimate Talent Development Plan bonus mode, Keebo admits he sees Kokichi, despite all his "robophobic" remarks, as a friend which is something that Kokichi seems both surprised and touched by.

В истории есть конфликт, есть мотивы каждой из сторон конфликта, события подводят нас ко второй части и раскрывают некоторые детали из первой, что для мидквела очень хорошо. Поэтому DR Another Episode вполне себе работает в рамках необязательного спин-оффа.

Они же, кстати, выступают в роли заградотряда, не давая нашим школьникам совершить, по мнению Монокумы, «непростительные действия против школы».
Вас всё также будут всячески мотивировать, чтобы поубивать друг друга. Мотивы, в этой части, стали ещё более безумными, ещё более вескими, а способы их подачи намного жёстче, если пытаться проецировать эту ситуацию на реальную жизнь. И вот словом «жёстче» можно описать всю третью часть, поскольку сценарист в конец разошёлся и начал выдавать одно дело безумней и запутанней другого и, я бы даже сказал, интересней, чем в первой и второй части. Само исследование локации также изменилось. Добавились интерактивные моменты два за игру , после каждого заседания вы будете самолично открывать новые локации, используя полученные предметы, как в каком-нибудь квесте. Проблема только в том, что игра никак этот новый элемент не развивает, в результате чего вы снова занимаетесь пиксельхантингом.
Или бьёте ногой предметы на локации, выбивая монетки Монокумы. Правда, этой возможностью вы перестанете пользоваться или не будете пользоваться ею вообще зря. Поскольку разработчики ввели в игру… Казино. Со своей валютой, которая конвертируется из монеток Монокумы, со своим магазином и мини-играми. Хотя все эти мини-игры являются переделками мини-игр с «Классного суда». И о них сейчас речь и пойдёт.

В ходе классного суда выясняется, что Ки-Бо лишь марионетка в руках создателей шоу «Данганронпа»: он — камера для зрителей шоу. Ки-Бо и остальные выжившие отказываются принять отчаяние или надежду. Они решают пожертвовать собой, чтобы закончить «Данганронпу». Ки-Бо является финальным играбельным персонажем, и, по итогу, девтерагонистом игры. Сюити Саихара, «Абсолютный детектив» — замкнутый, неуверенный в себе подросток. Носит кепку, за которой он обычно скрывает свой взгляд. Стесняется своего абсолютного таланта: детективом он не был, а лишь раскрыл одно преступление раньше полиции. Особенно хорошо сдружился с Каэде и нашёл зацепки, ведущие к личности организатора Убийственной Игры. В ходе первого классного суда заменяет собой Каэде и становится новым играбельным персонажем. После смерти Каэде сильно расстраивается, но становится увереннее, снимает свою кепку за которой скрывался ахогэ и начинает дружить с Маки и Кайто.
В ходе последнего классного суда выявляет организатора и узнаёт страшную правду о себе и других: они являются частью шоу но смерти были реальными. Шуичи отказывается играть и завершает Убийственную Игру при помощи Ки-Бо. Сюити является настоящим протагонистом игры и одним из трёх выживших. Рантаро Амами, «Абсолютный??? Не помнит свой талант, но утверждает, что не является плохим. В отличии от всех остальных учеников, Рантаро уверенно и спокойно разговаривает с Монокумой. Складывается ощущение, что он единственный, кто знает, что делать, и что он всегда понимает ситуацию больше других. В ответ на выдвинутый Монокумой первый мотив к совершению убийства Рантаро говорит, что ничего не нужно делать, ибо он собирается собственноручно завершить Убийственную Игру, ибо смысл не в том, чтобы перехитрить других, а в том, чтобы именно закончить игру. Весьма неожиданно для всех стал первой жертвой — случайно погиб от рук Каэде а как потом выясняется, умышленно убит Цумуги , которая собиралась устроить ловушку для организатора. Талант Рантаро выясняется только в шестой главе: он является «Абсолютным выжившим», ибо пережил предшествующую Убийственную Игру, и именно поэтому знает, что делать.
Рантаро составлял опасность для организатора игры, Цумуги, и поэтому та убила его и подставила Каэде. В дополнительном моде Love Across the Universe: Dangan Salmon Team выясняется, что талантом Рантаро раньше был «Абсолютный путешественник», ибо в поисках своих сестёр он много путешествовал по миру. Кируми Тодзё, «Абсолютная горничная» — талантливая и искусная горничная. Обладает материнским характером. Не отказывает другим в просьбах, если они не заходят слишком далеко, мотивируя это своим долгом. Убивает Рёму Хоси во второй главе из-за мотива Монокумы. Оказывается, Кируми является премьер-министром Японии, и от её выживания зависит судьба всей страны. Казнена Монокумой. Цумуги Сироганэ, «Абсолютная косплейщица» — весьма эксцентричная девушка, хорошо знакомая с культурой и искусством, к которым вечно делает отсылки. Милая и добрая Цумуги редко обвиняет своих одноклассников на классном суде, а наоборот, зачастую защищает их.
Является организатором Убийственной Игры. Входит в состав команды «Данганронпа» и снимает шоу для зрителей. Погибает в финале в ходе взрыва Академии от рук Ки-Бо. Не отличается умом, очень сильно любит жуков. Вырос в лесу среди волков. Узнав «правду» о внешнем мире, Гонта убивает Миу в четвертой главе, надеясь защитить всех остальных от тяжкой реальности. Но Кокичи, работавший вместе с ним, раскрывает его на классном суде. Казнён Монокумой. Тэнко Тябасира, «Абсолютный мастер айкидо» — весёлая и боевая девушка-мужененавистница. Вместе со своим учителем она создала новый вид борьбы — Нео-Айкидо.
Она лесбиянка и не скрывает своих чувств к Химико, которая, однако, не отвечает взаимностью. Погибает в третьей главе от рук Корэкиё. Её смерть поспособствовала развитию характера Химико. Абсолютный президент Российской Федерации Кокити Ома, «Абсолютный Президент Российской Федерации 2020 верховный правитель» — один из самых неоднозначных персонажей. Утверждает, что является лидером группировки, насчитывающей 10 000 человек. Однако Кокити невероятно умён и догадлив. Именно благодаря ему на классном суде раскрываются многие детали. В течение всей игры он лишь действовал согласно своему плану. Чтобы вычислить организатора игры, ему пришлось косвенно убить Миу и Гонту, а также заставить всех не доверять ему. Кокити вмешался в ход событий Убийственной Игры, заявив себя организатором, что не входило в планы настоящего организатора.
Кокичи практически создал невероятное убийство, сотрудничая с Кайто.
