Уже к 17-й минуте встречи словенский форвард ФК «Уфа» Ловро Бизяк отметился дублем, причем оформил его всего за 80 секунд. На 25-й минуте Александр Пуцко получил травму головы, его заменил Игорь Дивеев.
Игру обслужил судья Мортен Крог. Встреча с действующим обладателем титула и безоговорочным фаворитом стала для желто-черных серьезным испытанием.
