Dale Langdon Gary Sweet watches as the van arrives 45 minutes early. Judy gets a visit from her lawyer who believes he can have her out by this time tomorrow. When that conversation ends, she sees Frazer in the visiting room and realizes Lou has been lying. When Judy confronts Lou, she is told Frazer likely needed to change his clothes before he got the heck out of Wentworth. Ferguson listens as Lou admits it was never about busting them out of there. Ferguson decides to take that information to Rita before faking a sickness to help Rita escape her cellblock. Ferguson admits she is helping because Lou hurt her hand and killed her goldfish. Once Judy is locked in the holding cell, she screams she needs to talk to the governor. Instead, she tells Ann about the bombing, but Ann already knows and argues she is way ahead of her.
When Judy pleads with her and cries that this is going to ruin everything for her, Ann accuses her of killing her daughter. Lou puts the cellphone in her pocket just in time for Rita to come in and confront her. When Lou says nobody gave Reb a chance, Rita attacks her. Ferguson hits the panic button while Allie sees the cellphone. The prison guards arrive and stop Rita from bashing Lou more. Rita tries to tell them that the women are in danger before she is taken to the isolation cell. Jake runs into Vera who asks about the alarm. He tells her about the fight before they discuss the van sitting outside. Vera goes outside to check the van while Rita tries to convince Lou to stop the bomb now that she is stuck in the isolation cell.
Vera finds nothing suspicious about the van and goes back inside. Lou believes her hope died with a rope around his neck. Rita insists there are good people in here and what happened to Reb was awful. Dale and the others circle the van before it explodes and likely kills all of them. After the explosion, Will wakes up and learns what is going on from the radio. Rita wakes up while Allie finds her wheelchair trapped by the debris. Rita gets out of the isolation cell as Will tries to get others out of the prison. Officer Deng Ceilia Low seems to be dead next to her.
The women want her punished for warning him, so she attacks Jackson herself, but less harmfully. That way she must be sent to the slot isolation. Convenient that, with Bea already there. They talk for hours through a vent: tell each other life stories, make up silly rap songs and learn to like each other. In episode 5, a new officer Jake Steward Bernard Curry comes on board. The prison officers want a top dog to help control the women. Vera rigs the vote so Bea stays on. Everyone else has noticed how distracted she is. Bea says not to — everyone she cares about ends up dead. After that admission, Allie kisses Bea. The bad news is Ferguson is listening to this sweet first kiss. Ferguson tells Kaz Niles Jesper is a serial rapist. She want the Red Right Hand people on the outside to kill him. If Kaz does this for her, she will kill Bea Smith and all their problems will be over. When Ferguson learns they are meeting in the closet every afternoon, she implements a plan to kill Bea. Ferguson roofies Bea just before Bea is meant to meet Allie in the kitchen. Kaz creates a distraction and makes Allie go with her, leaving Bea waiting. Ferguson puts the drugged and inert Bea head first into the kitchen sink. At the same time, Mr. Jackson plays Kaz a recording of Ferguson turning her in to the police as the head of Red Right Hand, an action that led to her recent 12 year sentence. Kaz leaps up and runs to the kitchen, Allie right behind her. Kaz attacks Ferguson and puts her hand in the deep fat fryer. Allie pulls Bea from the water and starts CPR. Jackson takes over CPR and Bea goes to the hospital.
