Стыдно ли писать истории для девочек? С моей точки зрения, это не примитивные романтические истории. Например, в «Тиамат» много рефлексии о детско-родительских отношениях, найденной семье, поиске себя. И то же самое можно найти в других наших историях. Ничего читать не стыдно, главное — только читать! Любой жанр имеет право на жизнь. У меня есть подруга, которая читает только фанфикшен, но из него она выносит крутые философские идеи. Фанфики — то же творчество, просто они не упакованы в обложку и не отпечатаны в типографии. В своем канале я проводила конкурс фанфиков и сама приняла в нем участие ради интереса. Написала работу о Иштар и Гильгамеше. Но вообще я их почти не пишу и не читаю, особенно по своим работам: так сбивается оригинальная идея, да и времени нет. Но я догадываюсь, конечно, что там происходит. Я и сама много «неприличного» пишу, но пока решила, что герои не дошли до этой стадии отношений. Важный дисклеймер: я полностью отдаю себе отчёт в том, что «Клуб Романтики», очевидно, не рассчитан на игрока вроде меня. Разработчики явно целились в исключительно казуальное развлечение, к тому же не имеющее почти ничего общего с традиционными видеоиграми. Но одновременно я искренне убеждён, что хорошие визуальные новеллы способны найти отклик у любого игрока вне зависимости от пола, возраста и жанровых предпочтений. В конце концов, история знает достаточно мелодрам и романтических сюжетов, которые высоко оценила и далёкая от любовных романов аудитория. Так что я отбросил предрассудки в сторону, набрал полные лёгкие воздуха и с головой нырнул в эту пучину. Они охватывают чуть ли не все существующие литературные жанры и могут похвастать неожиданно продолжительным хронометражем: из отдельных эпизодов складываются целые сезоны. В каждой новелле игрок берёт под контроль новую героиню протагонисты мужского пола тоже есть, но скорее в качестве исключения , а весь геймплей сводится к выбору реплик в диалогах, значительная часть которых вообще ни на что не влияет. Доля нелинейности в сюжетах всё-таки есть, но касается она в основном только выбора любовного интереса. Несмотря на количество и разнообразие историй, их можно условно поделить на две группы. Первая — невероятно унылое чтиво, по ощущениям похожее на визит в тематический парк, посвящённый заезженным штампам из романтических фильмов. Простушка приехала в Голливуд, героиня-хореограф встречает группу горячих танцоров, студентка неожиданно попадает в королевскую семью… Надежды на хорошую историю тают уже во время чтения аннотаций, а дальнейшее содержание новелл лишь усугубляет эффект: в них найдётся буквально всё, за что принято ругать бульварные романы.
Невыносимые диалоги, топорно написанные персонажи, бесконечные пассажи типа «в его взгляде читается X с примесью Y». Про качество сценария и говорить как-то неловко, даже учитывая мои не слишком высокие ожидания. О каком серьёзном нарративе может идти речь, если за основу сюжета взяты настолько избитые истории, а персонажи выглядят так, будто вышли из телевизионной рекламы майонеза? А вот задники неожиданно удались. Так и хочется увидеть их в каком-нибудь point-and-click приключении Зато вторая группа новелл — настоящее комедийное золото. В них сценаристы срываются с цепи здравого смысла и ударяются в такой бред, что абсурд происходящего на экране почти завораживает.
Причем импульс этого действия обычно не особо понятен, это не какая-то конкретная ссора. И вы начинаете усиленно тратить на него свои главные «алмазы» — внимание, мысли и время. Он сжирает их, но никогда не наедается. Вы начинаете усиленнее копить «алмазы» для этого человека, а он вместо благодарности только ставит планку выше. И вам приходится докупать алмазы неестественным путем — в «Клубе» это вариант приобретения за реальные деньги — или же не есть, не спать, запустить себя привет всем самым дешевым и странным нарядам , только чтобы скопить энергию на устройство личной жизни. И вы сидите с нулевым алмазным бюджетом и странным ощущением. А дальше игра дает вам выбор — либо сейчас вы все усугубляете и потом вообще непонятно, как расхлебывать, либо платите, и принц все же возвращается. Без права на ошибку и без возможности расслабиться. Только вот в реальности «перепройти» этап своей жизни — с теми же вводными, в тех же ситуациях — по сути нельзя. Почему-то, например, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time просто дает возможность выдохнуть и будто провести время с хорошим приятелем. Почему-то другие игры находят альтернативные точки соприкосновения с нами, которые цепляют и затягивают. И не все строится на платных опциях, которые часто можно достать и так, просто путь к ним чуть сложнее и дольше.
