The tables in the restaurant are separate so you eat with your party, but there is still time to chit-chat with others at intermission if you like. Now to the food. You know how some food tastes good, others are delicious? Well this food was very delicious! The creole sauce was delicate yet flavorful.
And the combination of the pink pepper sauce with the lime yoghurt ice cream was perfect with the white mousse. My husband did the wine pairing, I tasted all, the initial rose and the desert wine were the best in my opinion. The portions were good, if not on the large side. We dined with a group of eight. Four of which had a special requests. Most fine dining establishments will not vary from their fixed menu. Chef Patrick not only accommodated us, he gleefully accepted the challenge. Prior to entering the establishment, we were greeted with champagne and incredible appetizers. Once inside, the evening kept improving. It was impossible to pick the best course. There was nothing short of excellent served to any of us.
The food was spectacular, but what stood out about the Journey was the people. Prior to my arrival in Aruba, Chef Patrick and his wife Yvette, were so kind.
We have a number of classics on the menu such as sateh and rendang.
But also our own creations and now and then we borrow something delicious from another Asian country. Of course, we also have tasty vegetarian dishes. Wayan cooks everything fresh in her own kitchen, with an emphasis on healthy and nutritious food.

Надо еще просчитать риски и экономику предприятия, интуитивно верно выбрать локацию, прочувствовать правильную тему, выстроить бренд и историю, поставить обслуживание на высокий пьедестал качества, и все это раскрутить так, чтобы предприятие работало минимум три года, до получения дивидендов. Большая часть ресторанов и кафе закрывается, не выдержав и года, потратив немалые финансы и усилия, приложенные хозяином или инвестором заведения. При этом можно быть гуру ресторанного бизнеса, поставить немало проектов с разной кухней и на разную публику, но что-то может пойти не так, и новый, обещающий быть супер-классным проект, заглохнет. Ресторану Aruba очень повезло. За период своего 25-летнего существования в качестве кубинского бара, с сигарами и ромом, он почти выдохся, потеряв оригинальность и привлекательность. Но, на его счастье, появился чародей-волшебник, который вдохнул новую жизнь в его паруса и, разбив о корму бутылку кубинского рома, корабль под названием Aruba отправился в новое плавание, торжественно и с музыкой, отчалив от берега.
В интерьере кубинского дворика, собирающего под черепичными крышами уютные посиделки старых друзей, пары утомленных солнцем влюбленных и страстных ревнителей сальсы и румбы, можно наслаждаться неспешной беседой за блюдами традиционной кубинской домашней кухни. Это, пожалуй, единственный ресторан в Москве, где кухня, подача и качество обслуживания выдержаны в настоящем колониальном стиле прежней Кубы. Переступая порог заведения, ты мгновенно перемещаешься через океан на залитый солнцем остров. Здесь нет пресловутых кубинских стереотипов, но передана атмосфера колониальной Кубы.

There were cocktail versions of these too which Mr G enjoyed while I thought the Tropicolada with tropical rum, creme de coco and pineapple juice was just outstanding. Starters We shared a superb dish of Serious Nachos which was the perfect starter for all of us to enjoy. There was so much for everyone with black beans, cheese, guacamole and the dish was simply packed with lots of different flavours. The coconut shrimp from the boogie board starters was a big hit too. Large and tasty shrimp, piping hot in a panko crumb coating and served with a pineapple mango chutney.
