Вкус его несколько облагорожен по сравнению с классическим Лафройгом и несколько напоминает например Caol Ila 12. Несмотря на маленькую выдержку 6 лет этот виски несомненно относится к премиум-классу, и я бы расположил его немного выше чем Лафройг 10. Ну собственно он немного дороже и стоит. Дело в том, что последние 7-8 месяцев выдержки в маленьких бочках действительно радикально улучшают его вкус, делают его более нежным и бархатистым.
Чувствуется великолепный класс и высочайший уровень напитка. Это не какой-нибудь 3-летний попсовый купаж, к которому так привыкли у нас в России. Если по-настоящему любите и цените whiskey, обязательно возьмите Синглтон Вискокурня Даффтаун 12 попробовать. Конечно, найдутся и интереснее образцы. Тот же 15-летний или даже старше.
