LEGO launches Avengers Advent Calendar with Infinity Stone Christmas Tree
The day that everyone, myself included, has been waiting for. The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar may be known for its yearly holiday renditions of classic minifigures decked out with new festive prints, but my eyes are always on the fresh takes on different Gonk Droid designs. Look at their little beard and his festive cap. Complete with a sack of what can fittingly be presumed to be presents, the model is now fully together.
And the execution specifically is pretty solid. The build here might be on the more simple side, but I am loving just how well the designer was able to craft a Wampa cave out of so few pieces. It looks fantastic with Luke hanging from the top and is such a neat little vignette that we hardly see from these holiday countdown kits.
These identical builds clip on to either side of the cockpit and actually makes the ship come together. The red and white color scheme is getting some extra accenting from the blue thrusters on either side, and the design now even further merges the distinct Ravager ship look with more festive cues. As far as this actual minifigure goes, the Hoth Luke Skywalker is nothing new.
This time around, the Hoth Laser Cannon is making the cut with a tiny build that makes perfect use of its 11 included bricks. This wearable accessory is designed specifically to pair with Groot, turning the Guardian of the Galaxy into a walking decoration. Which is exactly what I look for in these Advent Calendar builds.
I really adore the fact that it actually comes on a white baseplate to give the effect of stomping around on the snowy terrain of Hoth. This time around, Groot is making an appearance with a teenage version of the character out of Volume 2. The figure has some exceptional printing to really pull off his barked exterior.
He also has a bracket piece which will likely be for mounting some kind of backpack or accessory on in a coming day of the Advent Calendar.

While it only has 12 doors, it may be the perfect late surprise for someone who decided not to get themselves a calendar or if it had slipped your mind. This one is quite clever conceptually, and I appreciate that they managed to combine a festive component with an Avengers reference in a way that makes plenty of sense. On the plus side, the minifigure department is pretty decent, and I love that we get Spider-Man and Black Widow in ugly Christmas sweaters. Just getting his Hammer on the Fireplace is such a missed opportunity, and the lack of Loki is also very noticeable, especially as he has a throne.

‘Star Wars‘ and Marvel Fans Will Freak Over These Lego Advent Calendars
В каждой ячейке лежит маленький подарок, конфета или доброе пожелание. Открывая такое окошко раз в сутки и получая маленький подарок, дети ведут отсчёт дней до праздника. В деталях о деталях: В традиционной рубрике «Отсчёт до Нового Года» мы уже рассмотрели каждую модель по отдельности и проанализировали все 24 маленьких набора по десятибалльной шкале учитывая уникальность, редкость деталей и самодостаточность. Сегодня я хочу рассмотреть подробно все то, чего мы не касались в отсчёте и вспомнить все модели в полном обзоре набора. И тут всё на самом высшем уровне. До сегодня я был уверен, что покупал календарь «Маревел», а оказалось, что это календарь «Мстителей». Это немного сужает тему, но в целом простор для потенциала еще очень велик. Лицевая сторона очень красочная, но совершенно непонятно почему Тор и Железный человек сражаются с Ёлкой-Бесконечности. На торцах имеется очень красивая картинка с мстителями в немного анимешном стиле, а также изображение минифигурок, включая Вдову в масштабе 1 к 1.
Внезапно я прозрел лучше поздно, чем никогда. На всех календарях, что у меня есть сзади есть рекурсия с изображением задней части коробки с моделями набора. Это норма для этого типа конструкторов. В целом мне очень нравится зимние ели и замершее озеро на фоне, но не вдохновляет видеть на коробке изображение коробки. Но это вкусовщина. Глядя на него заиграла сцена из «Криминального чтива» с Сэмюэлом Л. Джексоном: «Это именно то, что я хотел в данном случае увидеть».
